I have some serious issues with the loving caring god idea right now. people often say look at this beautiful planet it's evidence of god's loving nature but is it really? This is a hungry planet everything on it is trying to kill something for dinner. We have all kinds of questions and no real answers just vivid imaginations running wild. I don't like the idea that this being craves worship and can do whatever it likes because it's god and we have to like it and beg it to not kill us.

Shadow Morton passes.......Remember, Leader Of The Pack
by designs inshadow morton may not be a familar name to many but his songs were influencial in the 60s rock and roll r&b scene.
he could neither read or write music and he played no instrument, all of his songs came to him simply in his head.. 'remember (walking in the sands)' was a breakaway sound that part operatic, part spoken, chanting, sound effects (sea gulls are heard in the background track).

The idea of getting on with life is kind of strange isn't it. An friendship well i think I've run everybody off because I can't stay away from controversial topics and I don't mean politics more like interesting archeological finds with bizarre inplications. i try to get people to jump out of the security thought plane without a parachute and see what we can find out. I try to be nice and talk about everyday stuff but somehow I start dragging them off somewhere they don't want to go. Fortunately my husband is the same way most people get their fill of us. When we were witnesses people had to be nice to us and at first the information was new and unusual but as natural born apostates it was just a matter of time. I've known alot of people in my life quite a few have died we were once friends maybe, maybe not. i'm still fascinated by the concept of getting on with friendship what does that mean anyway? A friend should be there for the duration and you should be able to talk openly about what you think and not have to hide who you are. is it sadness? maybe more like disappointment. Or maybe it's just the way it is and you observe it.

We've all done things in the past that seemed right at the time but in retrospect maybe not. We were young an if you remember Brenda lee I'm sorry so sorry that I was such a fool but that don't right the wrong that's been done.
they tell me they say it's a part of being young
Well "we are young set the world on fire" ha ha ha we all made mistakes and didn't set the world on fire however sometimes it's good to play those sad songs and cry a bit because there's nothing more annoying then people who say "It's not that bad" or "cheer up" you just want to say leave me alone. it's true there's plenty to be miserable about and scheduling a little depression with a little bit of plaintive music and a drink is good for the soul.

Well it's nice to hear all are engaged in living and experiencing life's ups and downs and adventures. What i appreciate most is how free my mind is to go wherever it chooses to run along without fences. I am as always interested in the search what we are, what evidence is there to believe anything and I'm open to whatever turns up . Something I've always wanted to do was live by the ocean so next month we are moving into a brand new apt just a block from the ocean and we will get a couple of bicycles and enjoy the seabreeze.

Are atheists afraid of archaeology?

i have to answer this because it makes my blood boil.
this is one of the key things that trapped me in a religion for the first 30 years of my life.. we were told the archaeologists have found ur of the chaldeans, babylon, nineveh and evidence for the existence of the hittites.therefore the other things in the bible must be true.. archaeologsts have also found troy in modern day turkey.

MEANWHILE IN TEXAS....

i also fell off the front steps smacking my head against the house, that was in the morning, other fall was the evening of that day.

Glad your doing better, falling and hitting your head is so dangerous about two years ago I tripped over some suitcases and fell head first and smashed my head on the hard kitchen floor tiles but i went immediately to the emergency room and as it turned out I was alright despite a couple of black eyes. Whenever you smash your head to have to get it checked out.
